a season of transitions

For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven… Ecclesiastes 3:1

Change is good. Often it’s necessary. You either choose change, or change is cast. Whenever and however, it’ll reveal its purpose, and if you look for it, you’ll see the good in it. And the God in it.

The season for career change is one now upon me. From someone else’s office to my own home office and passions and vision – growth, boldness, and a reset have found their way to me. It’s good, and it’s God.

When God is in transition and change, there’s purpose. I find that when I step out of His timing and will, there’s chaos. Y’all know how it works: choose God and yield life, choose the flesh or “self” and see death. Death of a dream, of a passion you once held dear, of the vision for a home office…

Change is also hard sometimes. Letting go of what you’ve known to step into the unknown ain’t always easy. But I promised myself in this particular transition that I would meet it full on, that I’d let all of my experiences and lessons lead me into the new, that I wouldn’t be afraid.

I have to say I’m proud of myself for taking this leap. I’m thankful for the vision to change and take on something courageous and fulfilling and that will help others and my community. Giving because it’s been given, blessing as I’ve been blessed…

Hang in there if you’re in a place of transition, by your choosing or otherwise. Because you know what? God is in it either way. He’s with you at every step, and He’ll guide you perfectly in the way you’re to go. Trust Him, lean on Him, secure yourself in Him. He’ll be the change and the good you’ve always been looking for.
